Why Is Playing Solitaire So Lonely ?

Sigh...the cards really aren't my friends...sure the Jack seems to wink at me some of the time, but he doesn't really care...the Kings and Queens are too busy with their stupid jerk kingdoms to listen to MY problems..."Yes, yes...but what about the serfs ? What will become of the serfs ? What's to be done about the serfs ?" Do they believe the serfs are the only ones with feelings ? I have feelings too...I am but a lonely card player...a player of solitaire...the game for only one...sigh

a friend recently taught me how to play 'double', 'triple', and so on solitaire with multiple people. ah yes, do you ever feel alone in a crowded room? i do...

I am intrigued yet terrified of this "double" and "triple" solitaire you speak of-how does such a thing work ?

each player has their own deck of cards and plays solitaire as usual, only when they get an ace and so on they pile them in the middle, where anyone can contribute to any ace pile (i clearly don't know the correct terminology). now the playing gets fierce and fast. the person to get rid of all of their cards first wins. except for how my husband and i play, with the intent of both of us getting rid of all of our cards. but we're nice, peaceful people.
