Name That Lyric:Episode LXI: This Is My 600th Post !!!

Wow. 600 posts. Oh the inanity !! ( Is that a word ? Can I turn inane into inanity ? Well, I sure as hellfuck did, so get used to it.)

Okay, enough patting myself on the back, we got a game to play, my friends.

we have a winner from last week !!! In fact, we now have a two week reigning champion !! The lovely and talented Miss Ann Thrope once again correctly identified

"And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend
Finally I understand
The feelings of the few
Ashes and diamonds
Foe and friend
We were all equal in the end"

from "Two Suns In The Sunset" by Pink Floyd !!! Brava, Miss. Ann, brava !!!! As an aside, I love the way Roger Waters says "equal" in the song. His voice kind of catches on the "q", it's pretty cool.

Now, this week's clue:

"Dear lady there's so many things
That I have come to fear
Little voice says I'm going crazy
To see all my worlds disappear"

Good luck, Crimestoppers !!!

I'm always late to the party. Although, I do love me some Violent femmes; but I don't know if I would have gotten this one actually.

The most important thing here is -- WHO THE HELL CAN POSSIBLY TELL YOU THAT SOMETHING IS NOT A WORD?!?!?!?!

Huh?

Seriously, think about it... is there some World Agency that decides what is a word and what isn't?

No.

Just because it ain't in Merriam Webster's, that doesn't mean something's not a word. If it's not in the dictionary, like how "ginormous" wasn't a week ago, then what the hell is it if it isn't a word??!??!

So, go ahead, use "inanity" or anything else 'cause who the hell can actually tell you something's not a word??? The Word Police gonna come after ya? Kick 'em in the nuts!

Alyssa- It's my favorite Floyd album, by far. Though I need to listen to it with no sharp objects around.
Thanks for the visit and comment !
