What Movie Is This From ? Episode LX: I Believe I Have Found My Porn Name!

That's right. All these years, I have kept my porn star dreams on hold, because I could never come up with a suitable alias...Well, that long wait is over.I have finally found a porn name that respects and pays proper tribute to my Irish heritage: Miles O'Wood. I'll keep you posted on my career as it progresses.

Now, on with the game.

We have no winner form last week...Both chlorinejenny and Jennifer were on the right track, but they did not guess correctly.

"Damn girl, you gettin' high already? It's only 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I get my shit done for the day, then I get high. And besides, getting high and watching TV will rob you of your ambition!”

Is from "Jackie Brown". Samuel L. Jackson speaking to Bridget Fonda. It was Tarantino, but not Pulp Fiction.

This week's clue:

A movie from 1982

I don't like when somebody comes up to me the next day and says, "Hey, man, I saw your play. It touched me; I cried." I like it when a guy comes up to me a week later and says, "Hey, man, I saw your play... what happened?”

Good luck, Crimestoppers !!

I think I know, but I won't venture a guess. Instead, I shall give YOU a quote, because recent events in New York have seemed quite familiar, and I would like to conjecture where this is all heading. . .

This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.

What do you mean, "biblical"?

What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath-of-God type stuff.

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling.

Forty years of darkness. Earthquakes, volcanoes...

The dead rising from the grave.

Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together - mass hysteria.

How old were you even in 1982? Geez. I have no idea; It does sound like something I've heard. I thought maybe The World According to Garp but that's not right. I'll tell you one thing these games are way harder to play than write.

PS I did not like Jackie Brown. To tell a bigger truth, I really only like a little bit of Pulp Fic -- (I like Eric Stoltz) and one other movie that Tarantino was in, Sleep With Me (the best movie ever). Kay, I'm out.
