What Movie Is This From ? Episode LXI: I Like Cheetos

I just thought you might like to know that about me. They do say that snack foods are the window to the soul, don't they ? No, it's the eyes ? wow, I really fucked that one up. Sorry about that. I like my eyes too, I guess. But they don't taste as good as Cheetos, I don't think.

On with the game...

We had no winner from last week, nobody recognized

I don't like when somebody comes up to me the next day and says, "Hey, man, I saw your play. It touched me; I cried." I like it when a guy comes up to me a week later and says, "Hey, man, I saw your play... what happened?”

from "Tootsie". Although in the comments to the post, the lovely and talented Lauren DID reference a quote by the same actor, a Mr. Bill Murray. So that is pretty impressive.

And, to answer the lovely and talented Jennifer, I was 12 in 1982.

Now, this week's clue:

A movie from 1986 (when I of course, would have been 16)

"It is in bad taste. This whole episode is in bad taste. You young people are a disgrace to the human race. To all living things, to plants even. You shouldn't be seen in the same room with a cactus. "

Good luck, Crimestoppers !!!

I KNOW THIS ONE! YAY!

It's River's edge but I forget the name of the character. I think the dude who played him was Josh something.

Is it the River's Edge? I dont remember anything that coherant. I was going to say 'Meatballs'. right before the 'it just doesnt matter' speech. but i suck at guessing movies.

As an aside...River's Edge was really a glipse into the grungy future, wasn't it? like post-punk in reverse.

Never seen River's Edge... But Tootsie! That is way too funny. In a million year's I'd never have thought of that. But I do like that movie. I always wanted to live in a farmhouse like the one her dad owned.
