So, I went to the Netflix site to add True Blood:Season 2 to my queue. And when you search something in Netflix, they like to act like they "know you" and they suggest similar movies to the one you are searching. A lot of times, this suggestion makes sense. For isntance, one of the suggestions for me if I liked "True Blood:Season 2" was "Buffy The Vampire Slayer:Season 3". Okay, makes sense, and in this case, they happen to be right...I'm a pretty big Buffy fan. Kudos to you, Netflix.
The problem lies in the OTHER suggestion and the two suggestions they had for "True Blood:Season 1". The suggestions they had were these: "Lisa Lampanelli: Long Live The Queen", which is a stand-up performance(it was suggested for both season 1 AND seasaon 2) and the other suggestion, if I liked True Blood:Season 1" was...drumroll, please)...."MALCOLM X". Huh? Malcolm X ? Really? Seriously, what the hellfuck, Netflix?

Yeah, a lot of it doesn't make sense.
They are working on the recommendations algorithm. Hell, they gave away a $1 million prize to a team from some think tank for their version. Implementing it is another problem...
