" Ain't Gonna Work On Maggie's Farm No More..."

"He puts his cigar out in your face just for kicks...
Aaaaaaah, another lovely Saturday night at the N...i mean Blueberry Library...yeah, that's it...way to cloak the identity, Paddy me boy...blazingly apt to be listening to the good ole Grateful Dead give their spin to Dylan's "Maggie's Farm" on the drive home at 1:20 a.m....all the characters are there, if you look hard enough...Maggie, her Ma, Pa, Brother, they might be in drag, but they all work at the Blueberry Library...I'll tell you what...not a fun evening at the Blueb...though I got to chat with a friend I don't get to see as often as I used to, that stands out as the highlight of the evening...otherwise one of those nights that you just keep saying to yourself... 9 months...9 months...9 months...criminy, I'm a whiny bitch today...I better go to bed...
" I do my very best, to be just like I am
Everybody wants me to be just like them,
They sing while you slave and I just get bored
I ain't gonna work on Maggie's Farm no more"

Good night all..hopefully I'll be less bitchy tomorrow.

HAPPY EASTER PATRICK AND JEN!! thanks for listening to me complain, er, chatting with me last night at the blueberry, Patrick... i miss all my blueberry friends. Oh, crap.. maybe you weren't talking about me?? Duh, I am such an idiot!! so conceited! never mind, just never mind... now where're those cadbury eggs...

by the way - i thought of the Homer quote i was trying to think of: "If I had my gun I'd shoot you right now" (from the Simpsons, not the Iliad)

did you know they sell cadbury eggs in vending machines in the tube in london? what an advanced society! if i remember correctly, they were 3 for a pound.
