Any Queen Fans Out There ?

Okay, here's how it started...I was working a wedding at the Blueberry Library this weekend, and the DJ played "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie, a song I have always really liked...(I also overheard someone asking why anyone would sample that Vanilla Ice song...Boy, did I feel old and sad for me AND them)...then, yesterday I heard a chunk of Bohemian Rhapsody...And for the first time since the cultural phenomenon that was "Wayne's World", I was not overcome with the need to retch...Interesting, I thought, and busted out my Queen Greatest Hits...Sure enough, I was able to listen to the song all the way through, and enjoy it like I used to, along with most of the rest of the cd( i have never been a big fan of "Another One Bites The Dust")...I was very happy...Now I am interested in going beyond Queen's Greatest Hits (and Classic Queen, which I bought because it has "I Want It All" on it, a GREAT GREAT song...So what I am asking is, where do I begin my further appreciation of Queen ? Any advice ?

have you ever heard that Neil Gaiman quote (from? I can't remember the name of the book), loosely paraphrased: "Any tape left long enough in a car becomes Queen's Greatest Hits"?

I'm more of a greatest hits kinda gal myself, but isn't there a vol. 2? If you already have that, then I'm out of lame-o ideas.

I thought of that too. It's in "Good Omens"--the main demon character's car turns every tape into Queen.

I actually had not heard that quote, but thanks for sharing it with me in a not so thinly veiled mocking...but that's okay, I was prepared for some abuse on this...
