We here at the Flats got a letter from the attorney for a Mr. Gary Sinise, and we are not to mention Mr. Sinise's name again, and we are certainly not to frequent the eating establishments he frequents, or hang around in his laundry room OR sort through his trash. So, I guess we need to find a new hobby. What's this SuDoku everyone's raving about ? Maybe that could occupy our time. Hmmm, I wonder if Gary Sinise does the SuDoku ?
Okay, onto the game.
we have 2 PARTIAL winners from last week !!! The lyric, of course was
"My balls feel like a pair of maracas
My balls feel like a pair of maracas
Oh God I probably got the Gon-o-ka-ka-khackus!
My balls feel like a pair of maracas"
And the lovely and talented Jen, guessed correctly that was by Mr. Frank Zappa. The also lovely and talented Feral Mom guessed Joe's Garage, the album that contains the song that the lyric is from. So the judges got together and decided to award a partial shared title to these two lovely lasses !! Brava, Jen and Feral Mom !!! Brava !!!! The song, by the way, is "Why Does It Hurt When I Pee ?"
A little side tale, I had a very weird, intricate and vivid dream about Frank Zappa and Joe's Garage last night. I was in NYC and there was this weird multimedia performance of "Joe's Garage" being put on, and we had tickets and it was all very exciting. And from there, things just got STRANGE...
There were these two HUGE women who kept sitting near me( I did a lot of moving around, not to get away from them necessarily, but just because I was the protagonist of the dream I guess, and the narrative needed me to be elsewhere)and talking very loudly. They also had bags of groceries with them, and at one point, there were two guys from the grocery store(they were wearing aprons) and they were asking the ladies how they liked the new containers. And I looked in one of the grocery bags, and the containers that you get from the deli were playing music(they were playing "Dirty Blvd." by Lou Reed-very random, I'm guessing it might have been playing on my iPod while I was sleeping), and the fat ladies were NOT happy with that at all. They finally left with the grocers to give them more feedback on the musical containers.
I also remember the chairs in the theater being these big La-Z-Boys, and they were all scattered all over this enormous theater. And there were stage performances, and some of the stuff was appearing on televisions, and it all seemed to be being run by these college students in those COLLEGE sweatshirts that Belushi wore in Animal House. I don't remember if Zappa was there, or if this was all happening after he had died. Cate Blanchett was there, I remember seeing her in the audience. And Bruce Springsteen was there as well.
I don't remember much else, except that at one point, My Special Lady got tired an went to take nap, and I was supposed to wake her up before they did "Catholic Girls". Very weird. My blood sugar was also elevated when I woke up this morning(i didn't eat very well before bed), so I wonder if that affected my dreams as well. I'll report back if I remember any other details.
Onto this week's lyric:
"So let them say your hair's too long
Cause I don't care with you I can't do wrong
Then put your little hand in mine
There ain't no hill or mountain we can't climb"
Xtra credit if you can identify WHY I chose these lyrics today.
Good luck Crimestoppers !!!!

"I Got You Babe" by Sonny and Cher
You chose it because of its inclusion in the movie "Groundhog Day", which is today.
Go me!
