Another one of the first ties I have ever owned. This one was a gift from my Mom, and as you can see(and as is evident in it's title) it is a group of Marvel Comic Superheroes: Spiderman, Captain America, Ghost Rider, Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk. Here is a shot with slightly more detail:
I said, "slightly more detail" and I meant it. Still working on the photog skills. There's no great story to this one. People do tend to assume I know more about comic books than I do when I wear this tie. I actually did not read a lot of comics when I was a kid. I did(okay, I still do) have a lot of action figures, there were these cartoons that were on Channel 11 when I was a kid, each afternoon was a different superhero:Spiderman, Captain America, Iron Man, and the Incredible Hulk(I think Spiderman was on two times a week). I loved those cartons. I still remember the Iron Man theme song
Tony Stark makes you feel
He’s a cool exec with a heart of steel.
As Iron Man, all jets ablaze,
He’s fighting and smiting with repulsor rays!
Amazing armor! That’s Iron Man!
A blazing power! That’s Iron Man!
I remember there being a Fantastic Four cartoon, but I don't think it was on at the same time. I think these cartoons were actually from the late '60's.
I think that's really all I gots to say at the moment.
