Name That Lyric:Episode LXIV:What Am I Doing In New Jersey ?

That's right folks, the Flats has temporarily relocated to the great Northeast. I'll tell you the gory details later on, but I know that you are all jonesin' for the Lyric Game, so I have hijacked a laptop and am bringing you the game. Aren't I wonderful ? I know you're all nodding your heads. And you're welcome. :)

Here we go with the game...

We had a winner from last week...2 winners in fact, or co-winners, I guess...The always mysterious Anonymous correctly guessed the song title, and the lovely and talented Alyssa guessed the band. They both realized that...

"All our stories burnt
Our films lost in the rushes
We can't paint any pictures
As the moon had all our brushes"

was from "Who Killed Mr. Moonlight ?" by Bauhaus !!! Bravo and brava, Anonymous and Alyssa, bravo and brava !!!!

Onto this week's lyric:

"A candy colored clown they call the Sandman
Tiptoes to my room every night"

Good luck, Crimestoppers !!!!!

In Dreams. It was done by several people including Roy Orbison and Chris Deburgh (of Lady In Red fame...which that is a really nice song too.)

My mother was a big Roy Orbison fan.

Ooh, I'm deep into The Sandman by Neil Gaiman now. He's not candy-coloured, though :(

Hey Paticus,
Just wanted to say thanks for your contributions to Boiled Dinner. Unfortunately, I'm hanging it up. I'll still be around comments, and will still keep Film Freaks going strong. See you around!
