Shit man, we didn't need Ghostbusters 2.
And believe me, I LOVED me some Ghostbusters. I remember begging my brother to take me and my friends to go see it on the day it came out. I remember reading about the special effects in Fangoria before it even came out. I even had one of those stupid t-shirts. So don't go thinking I'm some Ghostbusters hater from way back...That I am not!
I was even excited for Ghostbusters 2...And then I saw it. It was pointless and unfunny and uninspired, and pretty much everything that the original Ghostbusters was not.
I suppose it's possible that they have come up with a really good idea, and that this Ghostbusters 3 will be fresh and funny and fantastic. But is it really likely ? I've got myself thinking about sequels now, and how many sequels there are that are actually good. I don't think it's that many, but I think that's for another post.
I just don't think I am excited about a Ghostbusters 3.

Excited? No. Curious? Definitely.
Listen, if this is what it takes to give those fellas a bangin' retirement, then let them have it. I don't have to like it, but I'll still willingly hand them over my hard earned cash.
c2-Well, if they are serious about Alyssa Milano & Eliza Dushku, then I might be curious.
Lauren- You make a valid point. I'll meet you in line ?
Ew, I didn't know that. Maybe not so curious then.
I saw Ghostbusters 2... and don't remember it. It was that memorable for me. I'm gonna have to Google #3, who could possibly be starring in it? Hollywood is running out of ideas. Or they're getting unbelievably lazy. Or both. LOL
c2- Ew ? Ew ?
Loraloo- that's about how good Ghostbusters 2 was.It seems that all 5 main players will be back(Akroyd,Ramis,Murray,Hudson & Weaver), but it seems like there might also bee younger Ghostbusters. I'm guessing that's where Eliza and Alyssa would come in.
