Name That Lyric: Episode 233

We have no winner from last week. Nobody recognized

The singer he had long
And the drummer he knew restraint
The bass man he had all the right moves
and the guitar player was no saint

from "The Unseen Power of the Picket Fence" by Pavement. Onto this week's clue:

On and on the songs roll and soon you are caught up
In the sermon in each rendition as you come to feel
The devotion and dedication that is poured forth.
Suddenly, you know they are real, they mean it!

Good luck, Dillweeds!!

Ooh, this is an obscure one! It's the song from REM's Dead Letter Office album that is the tune of "7 Chinese Brothers" but with different words. It's called Harold something? Howard something?

OK, last night in bed I was running this song through my mind and it came to me : "The Voice of Harold." Is that it?
