Hell I don't even know what that means
I guess it has something to do with the way

Name that Lyric: Episode LIX:I Saved My Special Lady's Life Last Night...

I know, I'm just as shocked as you are. I always figured I was a massive pussy, but I stepped up last night.

I was sitting on the couch, watching baseball Tonight, waiting for the Mets highlights(they won, by the way, 6-2, John Maine won his 10th game, has an E.R.A. under 3, and he's not on the All-Star team- LaRussa's a prick), when I heard a blood curdling scream come from the bedroom.
Now, here is where I am sure you expect to hear that I ran out into the parking lot, but i did not. I jumped up and ran TOWARD(or TOWARDS ? I'm never sure which) the sound !! What the fuck was I thinking ?

I ran into the bedroom, and there was My Special Lady being menaced by a cockroach the size of an Escalade(it had squeezed threw the fan in the bathroom ceiling-tricky little bugger). In all honesty, she's probably lucky that it was not a spider, because I probably would have pushed her into it's waiting maw, and run away.

But, I was valiant, I grabbed my cane(yes, I actually own a cane, it was part of my wedding attire-along with tails,a top hat, and a tie dyed cummerbund and bow tie) and beat the beast back until I could drop a dresser on it. Then , the peril was over. I buried the corpse in the yard(and suffered another flashback to the "wasp" incident of my youth), and we went to sleep.

When's my parade ?

Okay, on with the game.

We have a winner from last week !!!!! The lovely and talented chlorinejenny correctly identified

She knows how to Rock'n'Roll

"The sky fell over cheap Korean monster-movie scenery
And spilled into the reservoir of the crushed capsule hotel
Between the Disney abattoir and the chemical refinery
And I knew I was in trouble but I thought I was in hell"

Name That Lyric: Episode LVII: Why Doesn't Voldemort Have a Nose ?

Does someone know ? I have read the Harry Potter books, and seen the movies, but I cannot remember if it is ever mentioned anywhere why Voldemort doesn't have a nose. It's quite disturbing to see in the commercials for the new movie "Harry Potter And Satan's Underpants" or whatever it's called.

Oh, and did anyone see the guy on Jeopardy either earlier this week or last week who didn't know the answer to Final Jeopardy, but wrote down "xelA keberT", which is Alex Trebek spelled backwards, and he said that he heard if he got Alex to say his name backwards it would send Alex into an alternate dimension(of course, a reference to Mister Mxyzptlk, an enemy of Superman)? The more I think about it, the funnier it is. I also think that Mister Mxyzptlk would be a great villain for another Superman movie.

Okay, on with the game.

We had no winner from last week, nobody recognized

"Nothing's for certain
It could always go wrong
Come in when it's raining
Go on out when it's gone"

from "High Time" by the good ole Grateful Dead.

They can't wait to hang out and be cool"

Good luck,Crimestoppers !!!!

Name that Lyric: Episode LI

Well, I guess it's time to start... Who wants to go first... Anyone ?...Anyone ?...Bueller ?...Okay, then i guess I'll start...This isn't easy, but I guess you all know that, don't you ?

Deep breaths...deep breaths...Okay, here we go...I think I first realized that I had a problem with lava lamps while I was in college...It seemed that everybody had one..And at first I thought that was fine, but then I started realizing that I was very uncomfortable around them...My throat would get dry, I would start to get really hungry, I would giggle uncontrollably, and sometimes I would even start to hallucinate...It was so weird, and it only seemed to happen when I was around lava lamps.

But then I noticed that it would happen around blacklights as well. And if anyone played the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Moby Grape or the Allman Brothers...And their would often be people wearing tie-dyes and beads and smelling of patchouli oil...But the one constant was the lava lamp, and that's when I knew that the dry mouth, the giggles, the munchies, they were all part of an allergic reaction to lava lamps.

Whoah, it feels good to get that out.

Onto the game:

No winner from last week. Nobody remembered that

"You may change a dollar bill
but let me tell you one time
You won't change the way I feel"
